Hungarian horn player Dávid Kutas received prizes and awards at national and international competitions already during his studies in the class of F. Tarjáni. After finishing his studies at the Franz Liszt Music Academy in his native Budapest, he performed as horn soloist in many orchestras in the Hungarian capital. For several seasons he was the horn soloist of the Slovene Philharmonic and is currently employed by the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra.

David Kutas' musicianship is characterized by exceptional virtuosity and tenacity; in almost every area he gives his attention to extremes and takes on musical challenges at the borders of musical potential.
